Tugba Karademi was born on March 17, 1985 in Ankara, Turkey. She first started skating in 1990 and she currently trains with Robert Tebby in Barrie, Ontario. Her highest placement on the ISU Grand Prix Circuit was ninth overall in 2007. She has made 8 appearances to the ISU European Championships placing as high ast 10th overall in 2007 and 2009. She is the first Turkish figure skater in history to compete at the Olympic Winter Games in 2006.
